FILM AND VIDEO

The following films and videos were produced for and exhibited in several varied contexts. Some were used exclusively in live shows and never broadcast (except for subsequent use in biography profiles) while others were in music TV rotation and some followed the path of video festivals, museum shows and art galleries.

PeeWee, the dog (pictured) costarred with The Dark Bob in 5 short films used only in performance situations. Pee Wee was an audience favorite and also worked in several films made by Bob & Bob dating back to 1977. PeeWee died peacefully and painlessly in 1992.


ALL STARS OF LA PERFORMANCE ART (2000)
Video documentary hosted by The Dark Bob featuring performances by John Fleck, Andy Dick, Anna Homler, Linda J. Albertano, Dan Kwong, George Herms, Jacki Apple, Simone Gad, Lida Abdullah, Michael Sakamoto, Rochelle Fabb, The Dark Bob and others. Shot live by Craig O’Rourke on location at the Knitting Factory, Hollywood and other locations.

VALERIE (1997)
Song video. Written and Directed by The Dark Bob. Shot on location in Morocco and Joshua Tree National Monument.

THE DARK BOB - PRIVATE DETECTIVE (1991)
Script by John Dorr and Lewis MacAdams. Director Lewis MacAdams. Produced by Metropolitan Pictures and EZTV. Feature length video. Incomplete and unreleased due to writer John Dorr’s untimely death.
