Biographies John Chelew (co-producer, Guitar, Piano) has worked in the recording studio with a variety of notable artists including John Hiatt, Ry Cooder, Nick Lowe, Bonnie Raitt, Los Lobos, Jim Keltner and Graham Parker. Danny Frankel (Drums, Percussion) has recorded and/or performed with Beck, Marianne Faithful, Fiona Apple, Lou Reed, Jewel, Michael Penn, Victoria Williams, Lucious Jackson, Bo Diddley, Chico Science and many others. His solo CD "New Thing on Jupiter" is available on W.I.N. Records. Sheldon Gomberg (Bass) has recorded and/or performed with Beck, Rickie Lee Jones, Michael Penn, Chris Stills and others. Contact: (213) 368-6683 Jack Skelley (Guitar, Vocals) was a member of the SST Records group "Lawndale" and has also recorded and performed with L.A.’s infamous "Insect Surfers". Jack is also a widely published writer and poet and was the former programming curator at Beyond Baroque, an important literary center in Los Angeles. Paul Castellanos (Violin, Guitar) is a much sought after session player in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. His unique violin phrasing has been featured on Country, Irish, Middle Eastern, Classical and Rock recordings. He has recorded and performed with The Dark Bob since 1988. Andy Vermiglio (guest drummer on Valerie and 2000) is a Doctor of Audiology at the Hearing Institute in Los Angeles. He has been the exclusive drummer for legendary Middle Eastern maestro John Belizikjian for over 10 years. Andy has recorded more than 20 songs with The Dark Bob since 1990. Rico Orrell (Oud, Guitar on There’s A Place) is L.A.’s busiest Oud player and teacher. He has performed for over 30 years on this exotic instrument for film, television and stage. Rico has been recording and performing with The Dark Bob since 1988. Glenn Nishida (Engineer) owns Pacifica Studios in Los Angeles where he has produced and/or engineered sessions with Gene Simmons of Kiss, Joe Walsh of the Eagles, Billy Preston, Lee Michaels and others. As an accomplished blues guitarist, Glenn has performed with Rita Coolidge, Rick James, Tracy Lords, Steven Bishop, Tina Marie and was a touring member of We Five.
